Start a Meeting

MATSUKO is a mobile and XR app that enables holographic video calling.
‍
To experience this better, you will need to connect your XR Glasses with your iPhone.

You will be able to start a meeting:-

- iPhone & XR Glasses
- iPhone Only

To start a meeting please first ensure that you have completed the App Installation and Pairing of your devices. Launch your app on both your iPhone and your XR Glasses.

(Please be aware the images may vary depending on the XR device you use)

The App will open on our Welcome page. Proceed to select ‘Meeting’ on your iPhone.

You will have to allow permission to access your camera and microphone to enable the full functionality of the app. If you do not allow permissions you will be presented with the following screen and will be unable to use the app until permissions have been accepted.

Your iPhone will automatically try to search and pair with your XR glasses.

For first time user please refer to How to Pair Here.

Your iPhone should detect your XR Glasses and pair successfully.

You will see the icon on the top left indicating that you are currently paired with your XR Glasses. Proceed to click on ‘Start’ to begin a meeting.

Once you have started the meeting you can see your hologram, You can also see on your iPhone the meeting number at the top and you have meeting features in the lower section of the screen.

Click the Matsuko App on your iPhone.

You will see the landing page. Click on ‘Meeting’ to start a new meeting on your iPhone.

You will have to allow permission to access your camera and microphone to enable the full functionality of the app.

Proceed to skip the pairing with the 'Later' button.

If you do not allow permissions you will be presented with the following screen and will be unable to use the app until permissions have been accepted.

Choose ‘Start’ to begin a meeting.

Once you have started the meeting you can see yourself on your iPhone.

(Note: you can only see yourself on the iPhone, connect your XR glasses to see other participants.)
